Authorities said security forces on Saturday cordoned off a house in Zinapura, a remote area of Shopian, on reports of militant presence, but the landlord denied their presence.

Meanwhile, India's National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday conducted simultaneous raids at eight locations in six districts of Kashmir Valley and Jammu and Jodhpur area of the Indian state of Rajasthan.
NIA officials say the raids were carried out in connection with a case involving the banned organizations Jaish-e-Muhammad, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Hizb-ul-Mujahideen, Al-Badr and its affiliates, The Resistance Front (TRF) in Kashmir. , New Delhi and other parts of India have been accused of plotting terrorism.
Authorities say 28 people have been arrested so far in the case.
